"St. Stephen Basilica" was the first work in the artist's cityscape series, depicting one of Budapest's most recognizable landmarks through layered encaustic textures on OSB. In several areas, the wax was scraped back to the wooden surface, allowing the warm tone of the support to become part of the architecture itself.
