Encaustic paintings inspired by cities, statues, and collective memory

These works are rooted in real places—Pécs, Budapest, Brussels—but speak to something beyond geography. I often start from iconic statues or historic buildings to reflect on the passing of time, national identity, and personal memory. The urban becomes symbolic through melted wax and layered surfaces.
